About Us

Faculty of Arts, Law and Education of Purbanchal University is one of the premier faculties of Purbanchal University. The goal of this faculty is to produce quality human resources in wide array of social science, education and law programmes and expand the critical understanding the human world. 

This faculty has been offering a number of pioneering undergraduate and graduate degrees such as Bachelor in Social Work, Bachelor in Media Technology, Bachelor in Mass Communication and Journalism, Bachelor in Interior Design, Bachelor in Education, Bachelor in Law, Bachelor in Liberal Arts Studies, Master in Sociology/Anthropology, Master in Mass Communication and Journalism, Master in Media Technology, Master in Development Studies, Master in Population and Rural Development, Master in Education and Master in Law. The faculty is planning to launch MPhil/PhD in Social Sciences soon.

The faculty is rich with its three constituent centres/colleges and a number of community and private colleges affiliated with it. Situated in Biratnagar, capital city of Province No. 1 and an industrial hub of the country, the faculty is happy to be the part of Nepal’s quality and competitive higher education drive.
